ESG at CURIUM

MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT

At Curium, we are committed to act ethically and be socially and environmentally responsible, while maintaining profitability and sound governance.

Which is why Curium created an ESG department in 2022 with a priority on developing a Group ESG strategy based on four pillars:

  1. Minimize environmental impact (E)
  2. Responsible workforce and beyond (S)
  3. Responsible business, maintaining and building trust (G)
  4. Focus on growth, lead in innovation, and add value to society (Pharma).

Environmental, Social and Governance

Meeting Future Requirements and Stakeholder Expectations

These pillars are not only necessary to prepare Curium for future legislative requirements such as the ones set out in the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), but they are also consistent with the expectations of our employees, our customers, and our investors.

Our commitment to ESG is being demonstrated through various initiatives and actions, such as:

  • The implementation of Curium’s ESG strategy is being monitored by strong governance involving the company’s senior leadership team and its Board of Directors.
  • Curium has started to monitor the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of its activities and we are investing in tools and resources to ensure (i) we can rely on accurate and reliable data going forward and (ii) we identify the right actions to reduce our energy consumption and so the GHG emissions.
  • We educate our employees to improve understanding of the causes and consequences of the climate change based on Climate fresk The workshops are organized within several Curium entities in different regions several times a year: 14 employees covering all Curium languages were trained to organize these workshops.
  • We have also adopted a specific Environmental Policy that sets out various recommended best practices to reduce Curium’s overall environmental impact.
  • Curium is committed to ensure a safe and respectful workplace. In practice, this means that we continue to prevent all forms of discrimination and ensure that all Curium employees are treated equally.
  • We are also auditing and reviewing our governance principles, policies, and practices to ensure we adapt them to Curium’s development and business reality. Hence, we have recently refreshed our Code of Ethics, Anti-corruption, Anti-bribery, and Conflicts of Interest policy.
  • We have set high standards for how we do business and expect the same from our suppliers in their own businesses and professional relationships. All our social and environmental expectations are outlined in our Suppliers Code of Conduct.
  • We continue to deeply invest in R&D.

Our purpose, “Redefining the experience of cancer through our trusted legacy in nuclear medicine,” unites us all and is integral to everything we do at Curium.
